HEBBS, Victor Douglas "Vic" After a long and courageous battle with heart disease, Vic passed away peacefully in the hospital on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the age of 88. Vic was predeceased by his loving wife Eva (Appleby), and his sister Dot. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Linda (Rod) Clark and sons Stephen (Gail) and Michael (Cathy and her son Chance) and by his long time friend and loving companion Marta Fiedler; grandchildren Shawn (Karen) Clark, Shelly (Steve) Holmes, Jared (Alison) Hebbs, and Chelsea (Josh) Bloomfield. Loving great-grandfather to Kody and Jade Clark; Brittany and Lucas Holmes and Sawyer Hebbs. Lovingly remembered by Eva Fiedler and her son Kasper (Chris). He will be dearly missed by his family in England; sister Enid Reeve and brother Noel (Lily), and nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving dog Mira. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nursing staff and the personal care assistants on 5A at the Civic Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Victor and his family. We would especially like to thank "Flower" for her tenderness and kindness. A special thank you is also sent to Michael McCleery for his wisdom and support. Vic was a long-time employee of Commercial Tire and Battery and is fondly remembered by Moe and Sam Litwack and families. Funeral Service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment following the Service at Beachwood Cemetery.
