In Loving Memory Of Emilie Helm (nee Ziffle) Born in Poland in 1924, citizen of Germany and then Canada since 1949, Emilie passed away in Sudbury on November 1st, 2007 (All Saints Day). She leaves behind her husband Gerhard, son Bernie (Garson) and daughter Monica (Ottawa). Sadly predeceased by sons Hans and Ralph. Her children were indeed blessed to be able to learn compassion for others, an appreciation of the wonders of life and the quest for continual learning from a true master. She leaves a piece of her generous heart to special daughter-in-law Sue and son-in-law Jim Youngs. Oma will forever be cherished by grandchildren Gary and Dean, Chris and Heidi, and Kurtis and Jamon and be her great-granddaughters Melissa, Alyssa and little Emilie. She was a special "Tante Millie" to many in the German community in the Sudbury area since the 1950's and a dear friend to many. Emilie was a truly classy lady whose strength to face all life's challenges became an inspiration to family and friends. Her laugh will continue to echo in our hearts.
