Sylvia Clare GLASSBERG

CHERNOFF, Sylvia Clare (nee Glassberg). In her ninety-second year, passed gracefully at the Montreal General Hospital in the early hours of the 4th of November 2007. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Lyon Chernoff. Cherished mother of Susan and Kenneth and Elizabeth. Much loved grandmother of Karla, Mwara and Sandor. Great-grandmother of Lucas, Hannah, Kasey, Bridget and Ruby. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Selma and the late Arnold Potter, David Glassberg, the late Freda and the late Samuel Gould, the late Anne and the late Harold Cohen, the late Jack Glassberg. Special thanks to her personal caregivers Maria and Sylvia and the wonderful staff of the Dialysis Unit at the Montreal General Hospital, in particular Rita and Pearl. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday November 6 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Temple Emanu-El Beth Shalom Congregation Cemetery, Mt. Royal Blvd. Shiva private.
