BARRETT, Vera Alice (Barnes). Passed away at the age of ninety-seven, surrounded by her loving family, at Charles-Lemoyne Hospital on November 3, 2007. Surviving spouse of Gaylord Barrett and her first husband John B. Barnes, leaving to mourn her sisters Peggy (Peter) and Beryl, her son Thomas Barnes (Marielle), her stepsons Edward Barrett (Claire), Richard (Eileen), stepdaughter Gaylynne Nadeau, her grandsons Gary Barnes (Brigitte), Richard (Carolynn) and step-grandchildren Kimberly Kashner (Allen), Timmy Barrett (Debbie), Micheal (Lynda), Jill (Micheal), Sarah Nadeau, Jonathan, Emely, her great-grandchildren Caryn Barnes, Natasha, Nicolas, Megara, her step-great-grandchildren Ashly, Timothy, Lauren, Sean, Mackenzie, Madison, Miranda and great-great-grandchild David and many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Collins Clarke MacGillivray, 307 Riverside, St. Lambert, 514-483-1870 on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held in the Chapel on November 9, 2007 at 11 a.m., thence to Memorial Gardens Cemetery for burial.
