SCHOK, Clara (Chaja) (nee Kaner). Peacefully at Maimonides Hospital after a long illness on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in her ninetieth year. Beloved wife of the late Uri Schok. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Irving and Mindy Schok, Linda and Sam Mahler. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Victoria, Robert, Daniel and Amy. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Michael and Sarah Kanner and Rifka and the late Leon Kaner of Israel. Our sweet Clara will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Maimonides Hospital, 4 South; particularly Dr. Gaiptman, Nicole, Pat, Donna, Lillian, Helen and Benita for their exceptional care and compassion.
