WILLAN, Wilma Gloria Ann (nee MacDonald). On Thursday, November 8, 2007 at home, and surrounded by her family, after a long courageous battle with cancer, Wilma has been called home to the Father, in her seventy-fifth year. Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, inspiration, Wilma loved and gave with all her heart. An active volunteer with many organizations, Wilma showed us all the joy in every day. Beloved wife of 44 years to John Peter Healey Willan. Mother to Healey Lawrence Willan (wife Christine), Christopher Peter Willan (wife Tina), Cindy Turner (husband Grant), Anne Marie Willan (partner Carrie). Grandmother to Grant, Connor, Jessica and Carter. Sister to Mrs. Brian Collins (Joan) of Montreal, Mrs. Carl Butler (Audrey) or Northridge, California, Mrs. James McMahon (Lorna) of Montreal, the late Shirley McKeown of Montreal, Mr. Lorne MacDonald (wife Annette) of San Carlos, California and Mr. Ross MacDonald (wife Anne) of St. Sauveur. Thank you to all friends and family for endless support. Thanks to Dr. Patterson and Dr. Solow, the visiting nurses and the Personal Support Workers for their care and concern during her illness. She made us laugh, she made us cry, she made us proud. We love you. We will miss you and you will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, November 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave (4 lights north of Hwy 7) Markham (905) 305-8508. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Marks Parish, 345 Glad Park Ave, Stouffville on Monday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m., followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.
