STEENE, June Ellen (nee McCann) Peacefully at Forest Hill with family by her side on Saturday, November 10, 2007, five days before her 87th birthday. Loving wife of the late Stanley Steene for 60 blessed years. Dear mother of Nancy Knudson (the late John), Barbara Lindsay (Rory), and Gordon (Monique). She will be missed by her grandchildren Sean, Scott, Devin, Jessica, Brendan and Tim, and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Lenore Tilley. Also missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends and family may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.), Nepean on Saturday, November 17 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
