WEITZENBAUER, Erna "Ann" 07 August 1924 - 12 November 2007 With humility, dignity and great courage, Erna "Ann" Weitzenbauer (nee Windrich) left this life on 12 November 2007 to be with her Maker, her husband and all the friends and family who have passed before her. Predeceased by her husband, C. Peter (September 1989) and son-in-law, H. Gerry Lunn (February 2001). Left to mourn her and celebrate a life well lived are her children; Ingrid (Greg) Rebar, Whistler, BC, Margit Lunn (Brian Laxdal) Almonte, ON, Ralph Weitzenbauer, Brockville, ON (Sylvia Beadry), Helen Rehorst, Belleville, ON, Step-son Claus (Elke) Bremen, Germany and her grandchildren Jessika (Michael) Heltebrake, N. Lake Tahoe, California, Josie Weitzenbauer, Montreal, PQ, Jacob Rehorst, Toronto, ON, Matthew Rehorst, Teeswater, ON and Kassandra Rehorst, Stoney Creek, ON. Her extended family includes, Dorothy Weitzenbauer, Nikki (nee Lunn) and Darren Griffin and their daughters Ashley, Sarah, and Brian Lunn and Richard Kirkland and especially Helen (Bruce) Rice who helped Ann so much during this difficult time. Ann is also grieved by her beloved cats Silver and Popsicle and by Margit and Brian's dog Tiller. Ann has touched the lives of so many people, many of whom are unknown to the family. Her joy in life, laughter, love and good food has been a source of strength for all who knew her. Her passions were her family, her friends, her gardens, and quilts, her pets and giving the best hugs in the world to everyone she met! Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth, ON on Thursday, 15 November 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Reception will immediately follow the Service in the Perth Legion Branch 244, in the Lounge. Graveside Interment Service will take place at Wideman Mennonite Cemetery, Hwy #48, Markham, ON at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 17 November 2007. Reception will follow interment in the Church Reception Hall.
