FLIS, Richard. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Flis on Sunday, November 11, 2007. Former employee of the Bank of Montreal. Richard will be greatly missed by wife Wanda, children Terry and Ashley, mother Aniela Flis, brother Eddy and his wife Helen, nephew Donald (all of Montreal) and his many aunts, cousins, extended family and friends. Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Zamora (family physician), Dr. Jones and Dr. Kaizer of the Credit Valley Hospital and to our many friends who have generously offered support and love. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Thursday, November 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mass to celebrate Richard's life will be held on Friday, November 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Cremation to follow. In memory of Richard Flis, donations may be made to the Ian Anderson House, Oakville.
