A TRIBUTE TO BERNIE GORMAN When he was a teenager Bernie Gorman formed a comedy Pantomime Act known as the 3 Pantomaniacs. The 3 members of the act were Bernie Gorman, Arnie Gold and Benjie Blumenthal. As amateurs they performed on Saturday night dances and charitable functions. When they turned professional in the 1950's they appeared in such night clubs as the Top Hat, Bellevue Casino, Esquire showbar, The mocombo, Palm Cafe, Casa Loma, and Jack Horn's Continental Cafe, just to name a few. Bernie Gorman was the lead comedian. He was a comedy gem. He was hysterically funny on and off stage. He was one of a kind, and as a member of the Pantomaniacs, I will never forget him. Bernie Gorman passed away October 28, 2007 in Florida. May his soul rest in peace. Benjie Blumenthal Published in the Montreal Gazette on 11/14/2007
