McCARTHY, Lois Kathleen (Retired Elementary School Teacher, OCSSB; TOSM & CWL) In St Patrick's Home on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in her 88th year. Lois Hutchingame, beloved wife of the late Frank McCarthy. Dear mother of Catherine McCarthy of Dartmouth, NS, Jane (Charles Bradley) and John (Joanne) McCarthy of Calgary, AB. Dearly loved grandmother of Sean, Sarah and Lesley d'Apollonia; Emily and Michael Bradley; and Ryan, Gregory and Mark McCarthy. Predeceased by her sister Marie Davy and mother Sarah Hutchingame. Lois will be remembered as a tireless volunteer and educator in her community. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper St. (between Bay & Lyon) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at St. Georges Church (415 Piccadilly Ave.) on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. The family would like to acknowledge the loving staff of Richmond Dementia Care Home and St. Patrick's Home for their dedication and compassion.
