J. Leon NOËL

NOËL, J. LEON - J. Leon Noël passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 20th, 2007. He was the son of the late Francois and Martina (Arseneau) Noël. He is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Mary) and Francis (Janice) Noël all of Saint John; nieces, Janine, Paula and Katie; as well as great-niece, Genieve; great-nephew, Michael; and aunts, Yvonne and Jean; and uncle, Joe. Leon worked on many construction projects in and around Saint John and also as a C.P.R. Trucker for many years. Leon was faithfully found presiding over the offertory collections at the 4 PM Saturday Mass at St. Pius X Church. He will be sadly missed by the many friends he made on his daily walks throughout the city. Leon will be resting at Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street, Saint John, N.B. where visitation will take place on Sunday 7 to 9 PM and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Father Douglas McNeill will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Pius X Church, Somerset Street on Tuesday at 11 AM with a reception to immediately follow in the church basement.
