Ulysse Gallant 1936 - 2007 COCAGNE, NB - Ulysse Gallant, 71, passed away at home on October 20, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born in Grande-Digue on February 22, 1936, he was the son of the late Ovila Gallant and the late Eva Donelle. He was a retired fisherman and attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue. Ulysse is survived by his wife, Jeannette LeBlanc; two step daughters, Bernadette Chase (Jim Martin), Edmonton, Alb., and Joanne Legere (Herve), Cocagne; two step sons, Albert Chase, Calgary, Alb., and Yvon Chase (Theresa), Rockland Maine, USA; two sisters, Alma Pellerin (Eddie), Shediac, and Leona Gallant, Moncton; two brothers, Joseph Gallant (Simonne), St-Antoine, and Fred Gallant (Jeannita), Grande-Digue; six grandchildren, Allan, Marc, Mathieu, Tommy, Natalie and Melissa. He is predeceased by five brothers, Louis, Adrien, Camille, Leo, and infant child, Ulysse. Resting at La Cooperative Funeraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, Shediac-Bridge with visitation on Wednesday, October 24th from 7 to 9pm, Thursday, October 25th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm, and on Friday, October 26th from 9:30am until 10:30am. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue on Friday, October 26th at 11am. Interment in parish cemetery. If so desired, a memorial donation from the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
