Francesca Varrasso (née Rosatone) July 12, 1955 - October 23, 2007 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Francesca, on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in her 52nd year. Beloved wife of the late Daniele. Precious mother of Antonio and Daniela. Cherished daughter of Antonietta and the late Donato Rosatone. Loved sister of Anna. Dearest sister-in-law of Lydia and the late Gianfranco Varrasso. Admired aunt of Riccardo, Cynthia and Melissa. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends living in Canada, Italy, Australia, USA and Argentina. Francesca touched the hearts of many with her thoughtful nature and generosity. Her beautiful smile and contagious laughter will always be remembered. Francesca's love for life was an inspiration for all who were blessed to have known her. Resting at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East (near James). Visitation Thursday, October 25th, 5-9 p.m. and Friday, October 26th, 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Highway 8, Stoney Creek, with Interment to follow at Mountainview Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Ma, words cannot even begin to express the pain we are feeling, Heaven has gained another precious angel. We know that you are finally with Pa now and that you are both looking down on us, guiding us in everything that we do. We will always remember your beautiful smile, your bright personality and all of the happy memories we have with you. What can you say to someone who has been one of the most essential parts of your world; someone who took you by the hand when you were little and helped show you the way... Maybe you'd just say, "We love you, Mom" and hope she understands.
