YEAMANS, JUDITH ANNE The death of Judith Anne Yeamans of Fredericton, NB, occurred suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, October 25th, 2007. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Lena (Austin) and the late Ernest Flewelling and the wife of Donald Yeamans. Judith graduated from nursing school at the Victoria Public Hospital and later did postgraduate work at McGill University in Montreal. Upon moving back to Fredericton she worked at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in the Pediatrics Unit for many years. She put her career on hold to start her second calling, her family. It was later when again her nursing passion called and she went to work at the York Manor Nursing Home with her most recent position as Unit Coordinator, a position she dearly loved. She was an avid reader and had a strong passion for gardening and especially spending time with family and friends. She also was known to dabble in photography from time to time. Judith was an active member of the NB Nursing Association, and a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Nasonworth. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and her many co-workers. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Donald; her mother, Lena; her two loving sons, Jamison and his fiancée, Carrie Culligan of Fredericton; Robert (Tannys Laughren) of Sudbury, ON; one special grandchild, Max Laughren; three sisters, Muriel Martell (Zale) of North Vancouver; Janet Jay of Vancouver; and Lorna Flewelling (Sharif Fahmy) of Fredericton. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, October 28th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Nasonworth on Monday, October 29th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Rev. Bruce McKenna will officiate. Interment will be in the Saint Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church Cemetery in Minto. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the York Manor Nursing Home Foundation. www.mcadamsfh.com October 27, 2007
