PERRY, STANLEY EDWARD - It is with sadness that the family of Stanley Edward Perry announces his passing peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on October 27, 2007. Stanley is survived by his wife Vera (MacLeod), of 47 years; daughter, Kimberley Ann; two grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth and Ashleigh Margaret; one brother, Elmor (Hazel), Sussex, NB and niece Lynn of Toronto. He was predeceased by brother Walter (Harriette) Sussex, NB; daughter, Margaret Ann. Stanley was a member of Zion Lodge, Sussex, NB, Order of the Eastern Star, Sussex, NB, Royal Canadian Legion and the NB Commercial Travellers Association. He was an avid bowler. He traveled for 38 years as a salesman for Standard Brands, traveling in Cape Breton, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. After retiring he worked for a number of years as a Commissionaire at Old Government House. Although there will be no visitation, a private funeral service will be held at the Nashwaaksis United Church with Rev. Gil Mackenzie officiating. Interment to follow at Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex, NB. Family would like to send special thanks to our dear extended family friend, Lynn Gallagher who Stanley really enjoyed every Christmas with her good sense of humor and gentle spirit. In lieu of food or flowers, a memorial tribute to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
