Frances Marie ACKERSON

ACKERSON, FRANCES MARIE - passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 1st, 2007. She was the daughter of the late James Lester and Margaret (Dobson) Ackerson. Frances is survived by a son, James (Ida) of Saint John; two daughters, Jeannie Ackerson (Billy Daley) of Saint John and Valerie Ackerson (John Powers) of Saint John; two brothers, Merritt (Fern) Jordan of Saint John and Neil Jordan of Uxbridge Ont.; three sisters, Mae (Roy) Atkinson of Orillia, Ont. Alta (Ken) Keeling of Orilla, Ont. and Roselyn Powers of London Ont.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor and brother, Edward. Frances belonged to the Ladies Auxillary Legion Branch # 64. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday November 4th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Tribute will be held on Sunday evening at 7pm. for Frances by the Ladies Auxillary Legion Branch # 64. The Funeral service will be held on Monday November 5th, at 11am from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel". Following cremation, interment will be held on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 "time still pending" at Oceanview Memorial Gardens.
