Alice Babineau 1944-2007 Alice Marie Babineau, 63, wife of Robert Babineau, of Moncton passed away Thursday, November 1st, 2007 at the Georges-L. Dumont Hospital with her family at her side after a 37-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born on April 19th, 1944 in Cap-Lumière, she was the daughter of the late Onézime (Lazime) Babineau and the late Marguerite Richard. She attended the Notre-Dame de Grâce Church in Parkton. Besides her husband of 47 years, she is survived by two daughters, Gisèle LeBlanc (Léandre) of Saint-Antoine and Roberte Richard (Raymond) of Moncton; three sons, Paul Babineau (Dawn) of Bonneville, Alberta, Terry Babineau (Belinda) and Donald, both of Moncton; a sister, Alvina Bastarache (Paul) of Moncton; a brother, Léandre Babineau (Rose) of Cap-Lumière; and four grandsons, Justin, Raymond, Jessy and Logan. She was predeceased by a son, George; two brothers, Gonzague and Edouard Babineau; one daughter-in-law, Barb; and three sisters, Pauline LeBlanc, Dorine Collette and Emélie Hudson. In respect to Alice's wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at the Notre-Dame-de-Grace Roman Catholic Church in Parkton on Monday, November 5th, 2007 at 11 am. Interment at Our Lady of Calvary, Chartersville following the service. A special thank you to the staff of the 3rd and 4th floor of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, and a very special thank you to her caregiver, Bardina Gallant, from the family for the excellent care she gave Alice for the last two years in her home.
