LANTO, GORDON G. - The passing of Gordon G. Lanto of Kilburn occurred on November 3, 2007 at the Northern Carleton Hospital, Bath at the age of 73. Born in Moncton, NB on August 20, 1934, he was the son of the late Joseph and Viola Lanto. Gordon is survived by his wife, Dianne (Miles) Lanto; two sons, Allison (Brenda) Lanto of North Bay, Ont and Dana (Bonnie) Lanto of St. Paul, Minn.; three daughters, Carol Quabia and Helen Parks both of Hamilton, Ont and Leanne Lanto of Kilburn; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Lanto of Lower Kintore, George (Sheila) Lanto of Bay Roberts, Nfld and Chuck (Shirley) of Washington, Ont.; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; son, Larry; brother, Allan; sisters, Dorothy and Helen. Resting at Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Tuesday, November 6th from 11am - 1pm with funeral service to follow at 1pm from the church with Rev. D.T. Ferrell officiating. Interment in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Fund or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
