STROWBRIDGE, ROY - The death of Roy Gordon Strowbridge, loving husband of Renee (Green) Strowbridge, of Willow Grove occurred on Wednesday November 7th, 2007 at his residence. Born in 1941 in Jersey Harbour, NL, he was the son of the late Leo and Beatrice (Fudge) Strowbridge. Roy worked as a painter. Besides his loving wife Renee, he is survived by his sons: Melvin (April) of Bangor, ME, Ambrose of Calgary, Dean of Willow Grove and Scott (Jennifer) of Saint John; daughters: Pamela Racette of Saint John and Tracy Strowbridge (Jerry) of Saint John; proud grandfather to 8 grandchildren; brothers Harold (Ella), Roland (Betty), Bill (Martha), Raymond and Melvin; sisters Marie Purrier (Lee), Margarete Moore (Howard), Elsie Randall and Olive Boyce (Bud); several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Merrill. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 10th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Hampton Rural Cemetery.
