PALMER, GRETA LOUISE The death of Greta Louise Palmer, 100, of Newcastle Creek occurred Thursday, November 8th, 2007 at Forever Young Special Care Home, Clarks Corner where she resided the last few years. Born August 18th, 1907 at Douglas Harbour, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Hattie (Carle) Palmer. Greta is survived by one sister, Joyce Calabrese (Jack) of Newcastle Creek; a niece, Freda McCoy (Charles) of Douglas Harbour; special nephews, John Calabrese (Cathy) of Newcastle Creek, Michael Calabrese (Bev) of Douglas Harbour; great nieces, Elaine, Carla and Caryn; great nephews, Carman, Bradley and Darren; a great great nephew, Connor and a great great niece, Kristen. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Irene Colwell, a niece and several nephews. It was Greta's request there be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service is scheduled 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 at the Scotchtown United Cemetery, Scotchtown, NB with Rev. K. Ruth Stuart officiating.
