WHITE, Donna - In Loving memory of Donna White (Nee Montrose). Donna passed away surrounded by family on Thursday October 25, 2007 at the Timmins & District Hospital. Treasured daughter of the Late Wilburn (Monty) and Mary (nee Last). Loving mother of Kim (John Jacovich) White and Dawn (Dave) Maenck. Proud and devoted grandmother of Emma and Abby. Donna will be sadly missed by her husband Milton Shaw as well as, her life long friend Don White. Dear sister of David/Cliff (Marlene) Last, Danny (Sue) Montrose and Debbie Montrose. Aunt of Chris and Adam Montrose. She leaves behind her beloved pets Oscar and Dew. She was a lifetime resident of the Porcupine Camp. Donna was a kind and generous woman. Friendly to everyone and a mother to all. She had such a warm smile and easygoing personality it was hard to have a bad day while in her presence. She enjoyed family life, playing darts and cards, but above all spending time with her grand daughters. Longtime employee of the South Porcupine ESSO, where patrons came to expect her good conversation and knew that she would always make time to listen. Donna was persistent and fought hard throughout her ordeal. She was stubborn until the end. Donations made through the Funeral Home to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Mom we will always miss you and love you. ~ Love Kim & Dawn A luncheon and fellowship will be held for friends and family to reminisce and celebrate Donna's life on Saturday October 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 287, South Porcupine.
