HAMILL, Doris Mary Paul - Mom the love you've given is a precious gift that will last a lifetime. The family announces with sorrow her death at Extendicare York on Monday, October 29 in her 89th year with her family by her side. Doris was born in Cache Bay Ontario, and moved to Copper Cliff where she met and married the love of her life, Robert 'Red' Hamill, predeceased in 1985, after 47 years of marriage. Loving mother of Bob of Collingwood, Sharon Wright of Sudbury, Diane Luhta of Timmins, Frank of Binghamton NY, Allan and Bruce of Sudbury. Loving mother-in-law of Brian Wright, Lorne Luhta, Abbe Hamill, and Sheri Hamill. Cherished Grandmother of Shawna and Glen Hamill, Erik Luhta and Leanne Luhta Meagher, Natalie Hamill, Keilli and Julia Hamill and Great-grandmother of Carly Hamill, Clew and Fionn Meagher, Caleb Hamill and Mari Luhta. Doris was predeceased by her five siblings, Ruth Paul Walker, Ada Paul Mitchell Byng, Hilton and Allan Paul. Doris was a devoted wife and mother and her family was her life. We will always remember her wonderful humour and wit, her commons sense, pleasant personality, her beauty and sense of style. Doris was loved by all who knew her. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, October 30 at JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. There will be no visitation.
