KENNETH (KENNY) CHIE CHIE Chie Chie - It is with great sadness that the community of Beaverhouse First Nation announces the end of Kenny Chie Chie’s journey on this earth. Kenny left us on August 3, 2004 at the age of 40. Our beloved brother was well travelled, intelligent and like his father, a beautiful woodland artist. Kenny’s spirit rests with his mother Margaret Chie Chie, father Benjamin Chee Chee, sister Marrianne, brother Adam, beloved Grandfather Isaac Mathias, and Great Aunt Flora Clim (Ekwee), Nisa. Kenny leaves behind his Grandparents and family, Clara Mathias, Joseph Thivierge, brother Ernie Chie Chie and Angela St. Jean, nieces Gabriel and Grace Chie Chie, nephew Jamie Crowe, foster sister Nisa Pitremont Diamond, special friend Marica Brown and nephew Isaiah Brown, and nephew Jason Chie Chie. Kenny will be greatly missed by all members of the Beaverhouse First Nation Community including dear friends of Kirkland Lake, Bear Island and the many people he encountered on his journey through life. Donations can be made in memory of Kenny to the Beaverhouse Church. The family will welcome friends at the Monette and French Funeral Home on Friday, August 6, 2004 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the Beaverhouse First Nation Settlement on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Des O’Connor officiating. - 8/6/2004 - ID4535371
