ARCAND, Gerald October 31, 1917 - November 27, 2007 Peacefully at Bayfield Manor in Kemptville on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, Gerald Joseph Arcand of Kemptville, age 90. Predeceased by his first wife Edna Summers. Survived by his wife Eleanor Charlebois. Loving father of Wayne (Nora Lea), Diane Arcand, Allan (Carol Anne), Lyle (Joan), Caroline (Randy Wright), Marilyn (Gordon Panagapako), Marie (Bill Havekes) and Louise Beckinsale (Bob Volks). Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of twin sister Geraldine (late Lorne) and Shirley (Joe Arcand). Dear stepfather of Caroline (Jeff Hardie), Tom Charlebois, Kevin (Audrey) Charlebois, Elaine (Paul Villeneuve), Susan (Ed Tatarciuc), Janice (Eric Kopa), Shawn (Maureen) Charlebois, Lynn (Paul Dillabaugh) and Cynthia (Tim Fynn) and grandfather of 16 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Ida Arcand, his brother Willis and his sisters Wilma (Paul Huot) and Ruby (Bob Zimmerman) and son-in-law David Beckinsale. Visitation will be held at Grant Brown Funeral Home Rolston Chapel, Kemptville on Thursday, November 29 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Church, Kemptville for Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
