RIVEST, Richard G. “Rick“ - Of Corunna and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at the Bluewater Health Centre in Sarnia on Thursday, November 22, 2007 in his 59th year. Rick is the son of the late Gerard and Gertrude (Bechard) Rivest. He was a proud member of I.U.O.E. Local 793 who loved to talk, eat, fish, dance and go to the Casino. Beloved spouse and dancing partner of Margaret Anne McKichan. Loving father of Shawn and Diane Rivest of Wallaceburg and Shannon and Jim Seys of Port Lambton. He was most proud of his grandchildren Brittney, Chad and Brendan. Dear brother of Yvette and Russ Hazzard, Ed and Connie Rivest, Wayne and Georgina Rivest, Michelle and Keith Montague, Marlen McDougall, Brian, Dennis and Betty Rivest, Louise and Steve Turner and the late Vince, Simone and Diane. The mother of his children is Giselle Rivest. Friends may call at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Monday. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, in the chapel at 12 noon. The interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
