Daughter of the late Abraham Thoun and Mary Saab. Wife of the late Kalil A. Kouri, dear mother of Donald (Diane) Eileen and the late Kenneth (Carol), beloved grandmother to Greg (Jean-Marie), Andrew (Susan), Stephen (Jill) and Stephanie-Lynne (Kevin Leonard), great-grandmother to Ava, Vanessa Eric, Adam, Megan, Alexandra, Caroline and Lauren. Mrs Kouri was born in Sault Sainte-Marie and lived for many years in the Town of Mount-Royal. She was an exceptional daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her caring and generosity towards family, friends and strangers. She was ahead of her time, helping her husband, Kalil, to establish Coronation foods in 1953. Many thanks to Mrs Kouri's caregivers, Marian, Deane, Polly, Grace and Sylvia Hoyeck. The family will receive condolences at Mount-Royal United Church, 1800 Graham boul.
