SYKES, F. Margery - Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre on Tuesday November 27, 2007 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late George Sykes. Loving mother of Steve (Michelle) and Laurel Wiseman (Derrick). Cherished grandmother of Stephen, Guerin, David and Neil. Survived by 1 great grandson Benjamin. Predeceased by 2 sisters Dorothy Howard and Maxine Carmichael, and by 1 brother Weston Meech. The family will receive friends at the TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday from 7-9 pm. Liturgy of the word will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church on Saturday December 1, at 3:00 pm followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
