HENDERSON, Victor “Vic“ E. - (retired employee of the City of Peterborough) Peacefully, at P.R.H.C. Hospital Drive Site, on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of Isabel (nee Bullock) for 49 years. Dear father of Victor and his wife Darlene of Peterborough. Loving grandfather of Victor E. Henderson. He was the brother-in-law of Bettie Bullock. Vic was predeceased by his parents William and Irene (nee Haskel). Victor served with the Royal Canadian Navy during WW II, he was the Chairperson of the Catscan Foundation, Life member of Five Counties Children's Centre Foundation, Citizen Of The Year Award recipient, Life member of Ontario Public Buyers Association, member of the Board of Trustees at Trinity United church and Chairperson of that Board for over 16 years. Vic was also honoured by Trent University when they established the Victor E. Henderson Bursary in recognition of his services rendered. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 3, 2007 at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 360 Reid Street. Memorial donations to Trinity United Church Memorial Trust Fund or Five Counties Children's Centre would be appreciated by Vic's family.
