NICHOLLS, Dorothy Jane “Dot“ - It is with great sadness that the family of Dot announces her death on Monday, November 26, 2007, at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her family and died peacefully at home. She was born Dorothy Jane Jackson to James Robert and Viola Jackson. She leaves her loving husband of 52 years, Murray and children Doug (Jackie) Nicholls, Karen (Greg) Butler, Cindy (Richard) Motley, and Dale (Lori) Nicholls, and precious grandchildren, Robin and James Nicholls, Kelly and Stacey Butler, Shane and Jodie LaBrash, Kurtis Motley, and Taylor and Courtney Nicholls. She is survived by her brother Robert (Leona) Jackson, and sisters Audrey Vowles and Mary Gerritsen. She is predeceased by her sister Louise Dixon. She also leaves behind in-laws, Ron and Audrey Lay (Sault Ste. Marie), Don and Shirley Nicholls (Grande Prairie, Alberta) and Orville and Gloria Crozier (Port Elgin), as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by many friends. A Celebration of Dot's Life will begin with a visitation at 12:30 p.m. at ST. PAUL'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (corner of Murray and Water Streets), Peterborough, on Friday, December 7th, 2007. A service officiated by Reverend George Turner will take place at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow. If desired, condolences to the family, directions to the church, and donations to Princess Margaret Hospital - Amyloidosis Research may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME at 742-1875. The family would like to thank Dr. Brent Stoker, Dr. John Beamish, Dr. Vincent Cheung, and all the doctors and nurses at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre - Dialysis Unit for all their care and kindness over the past year. 10919567
