FREEMAN, Doris “Peg“ - passed away at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Saturday November 24th, 2007 in her 84th year. Loving daughter of the late Mary Pickering and George Moore. Beloved wife of the late Frank Freeman. Cherished mother of Ken & Terry of Surrey, B.C., Steve & Ginny of Langley, B.C. - predeceased by her daughter Donna Thompson (Freeman) and her son Kevin Freeman. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ken & Sharon Lindstrom, Michelle & David Crerar, Dylan Reid and great grandmother of Melissa & Jamie Lynn Lindstrom, Ashleigh, Kelsey, Davis & Daniel Crerar. Sister of Rosa Scott of Peterborough, Grace White of Scarborough, Joyce Patrick of Campbellford, Sonny Moore of Petrolia, the late Reg and George Moore. Peg was a proud 50 year Member of the CWL and Associate Member of the Sister's of St. Joseph. She spent 15 years as Ward Captain for the Heart & Stroke Foundation as well as 10 years for the Canadian Cancer Society. Peg has the proud distinction of being a Life Member of the Campbellford Memorial Hospital and spent 14 years working at the Campbellford High School. Friends are invited to call at the WEAVER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 77 Second St., Campbellford on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass will be held in St. Mary's Church on Saturday December 1st, at 11 AM. Father Clair Hickson officiating. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Donations to the Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
