COOMBES, Victor Joseph - At Extendicare on Monday, November 26, 2007 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Adelle Morrow (2000). Son of the late William Henry Coombes and Sarah Emma Davenport. Cherished father of Wayne Coombes (Lynn) and much loved “grandpa“ of Karen (Sean Gregory) and Tina (Tyson Clancy). Brother-in-law of Douglas Elcombe and the late Donna Elcombe (2006). Survived by sister, Joan Craig (Raymond) and sister-in-law, Gloria Coombes. Predeceased by brothers, Bernard Coombes, Fred Coombes, Herb Coombes, Wally Coombes, Cy Coombes, and sister, Norreen Brown. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Vic was a 50- year member of Corinthian Lodge #101, Scottish Rite, Rameses and Past President (1992) of the Kawartha Shrine Club. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Corinthian Lodge #101 will hold a Masonic memorial service on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 3rd at 10:00 a.m., Interment Lakefield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriner's Hospital, Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. 10916350
