DUFF, Hew Ramsay - passed away peacefully in Halifax NS, on November 14, 2007, at the age of 68. Formerly of Burlington ON, Hew was the son of the late Hew (Duffy) and Helen (Toey) Duff. A graduate of Queen's University and an active volunteer in the Burlington community, Hew was committed to the principles of the Credit Union and Co- operative Movement. He retired in 1993, after 27 years as Senior Vice-President of Human Resources with the CUMIS Group of Burlington, ON. Upon moving to Halifax NS in 1994 Hew was a consultant with KPMG. Hew is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ann Marie (Stott); daughter, Elizabeth (Ted) Reading, Victoria BC; son, H. Ramsay Duff (Cathy), Antigonish; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann (David) Vivian (Kingston ON); Mary Jane Chisholm (Ottawa ON); grandchildren, Emma Reading (Victoria BC); Alyson, Elizabeth and Peter Duff (Antigonish NS); nieces and nephews, Ryan Chisholm; Carrie Chisholm (Jon Swann), Ottawa ON; Luke and Katie Marie Vivian, Kingston ON. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston ON under the care of ROBERT J. REID & SONS FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 309 Johnson Street, Kingston.
