CARLETTI, Oertel Antonio - Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Saturday, November 17, 2007, Antonio Carletti- Oertel, age 77, of Sarnia. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Maria Carletti (nee Saenz). Loving father of Miriam, Siegfrid, Tony and Aldo. Will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Grace, Gloria, Paula, Miriam and Lillian; his grandchildren Lillian, Gloria, Eduardo, Karina, Gino, Aldo and Mollie; and members of the family and friends. Predeceased by his father Paul Oertel from Reichenbach, Germany, his mother Emma Carletti from Italy and Nicaragua and his brother Romeo. Antonio was compassionate towards others especially the poor. He believed that knowledge should be passed on to family and others. He used his skills as a master electrician to help make the lives of others better. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 1 p.m. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. The family wish to thank the staff at Bluewater Health, both 4TH Floor Mitton St. and Palliative Care.
