MANESE, Grayce Ilene - Peacefully on Sunday November 25, 2007 at Versa Care Lodge, Brantford. Grayce Ilene Manese, pre-deceased by the love of her life, William (Bill), a devoted husband, loyal companion and best friend. Loving mother of Brian (Heidi), of Brantford and Sheila (Rod) of Oakville. Proud grandmother of Kira (friend Christopher). Special aunt to Cheryl (London), Lynne (deceased), Joan (deceased), Carol (San Francisco), Marilyn (Streetsville) and Jim (Vancouver). Devoted lifetime friend of Jean Creath. Youngest daughter of James and Bessie Heaney, caring sister to Frankie and Helen (all predeceased). Grayce was a consummate hostess and talented bridge player. Quick- witted, she was unrivaled in her delivery of the bon mot. A devoted wife and mother first; Grayce then began her interests; first as a Catholic School Trustee on the Board of Education and then as a successful real estate agent with P.J. Harvey Real Estate. Word of mouth brought her many satisfied clients. Stylish, smart and compassionate, Grayce's name said it all: in how she lived, struggled with ill health, and finally at the end. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford on Wednesday November 28, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
