KOWALCHUCK, Mary - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her peaceful passing on November 24, 2007 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late William Kowalchuk (1994). Cherished mother of Mike Kowalchuk (Joyce) of Norwich, Helen Bialas (Frank) of Brantford, and predeceased by sons Walter Kowalchuk (1998) and infant son Billy Kowalchuck (1933). Loving Grandmother of 11 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Mary was a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist and the Sunflowers Club. Friends and family will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with Panakhyda at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 10am followed by a reception in the Carriage House. Interment at Norwich Cemetery.
