STEEN, Mrs. Edna - At Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday November 26th, Mrs. Edna Steen of Chatham in her 101st year. Loving daughter of the late George and Minnie Kennedy. She was the loving wife of the late Gordon (1976) and resided on the family farm until moving to Chatham in 1988. Loving mother of John of Chatham. She was a member of New St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, a member of the New St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Women, and a member of the Women's Missionary Society of the church. Predeceased by her sister Grace Jack, and two brothers William and Edward Kennedy. Family and friends are invited to the ALEXANDER FUNERAL HOME, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Wednesday 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service for Mrs. Steen will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday November 29th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Aarssen officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider their charity of choice.
