Jean COPE

RIPLEY, Mrs. Jean - As a result of an accident on November 24th, 2007 Mrs. Jean Ripley of Chatham in her 86th year. Loving daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Cope. Beloved wife of the late Wm. Earle (1981). Loving mother of Dale and his wife Jane Ripley of Chatham, and Rev. Bob Ripley and his wife Deborah Livingstone of London. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sarah and her husband Shreedat Phulesar, Amy Ripley, Jennifer Ripley and her husband Scott Buchanan, Karen and David Ripley. Predeceased by sisters Mully Havlik, and May Bauman, and brother Fred Cope. Jean was a life long member of Holy Trinity A.C.W. , and founder of the Fun With Friends a pre-school program offered by the city of Chatham, retiring after 28 years of service. Family and firends are invited to the ALEXANDER FUNERAL HOME, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service for Mrs. Ripley will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 81 Selkirk Street, on Wednesday, November 28th at 11:00 am with Rev. Jim Stevenson officiating. Interment Dresden Cemetery. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Huron Hunger Fund and the Salvation Army Food Bank.
