MATWYUK, Frances - WWII Veteran (WRENS) Navy - Peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the age of 88. Born in Dauphin, Manitoba. Daughter of the late John and Mary Mazur. Predeceased by her husbands Cpl. J.R. Richard and by MWO John Matwyuk and brother John. She leaves to mourn her four children Marie Cole of Halifax, NS, Ken Matwyuk (Deb) of Belleville, Michael Matwyuk (Deb) of Prince George, BC and Janine Brethour (Blayne) of Penticton, BC. Dear sister of Michael Mazur of Winnipeg, MB. Loved by her grandchildren Carilee, Mia, Shana, Richard, Peter, Natasha, Nicholas, Danika, Kiersten and her great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend visitation at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613-968-6968), 150 Church Street, Belleville on Sunday from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Donald Street, Belleville on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Holy Rosary Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
