POYNTER, Edward (Ed) - Passed away following a brief illness at the Sudbury Regional Hospital on Monday November 26, 2007. Beloved husband of Louisa Poynter of Elliot Lake. Loving father of Sherry Lopez (Frank) of Ajax, Sharon McKay (Ian) of Elliot Lake and grandfather of Megan and Rebecca. Pre-deceased by his parents, Ethel and Charles Poynter and by his brother Garry Poynter (Connie). Also survived by many relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday November 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Holy Trinity United Church. The Rev. Robert Gardner officiating. Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph's General Hospital Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
