VADOVIC, Karl - a resident of Dover Centre, passed away peacefully Monday, November 12, 2007 at 75 years of age. Born in Czechoslovakia to the late Frank Sr. and Phyllis Vadovic. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Claeys) for 48 years. Dear father of Brian Vadovic (Joanne) and Sherry Wiersma (Doug). Grandfather of Scott, Shannon, Kevin, Lindsay, Luke and Matthew. Predeceased by grandson Stephen. Survived by brothers Frank Jr. (Janice) of Chatham and Alec (Janice) of Stoney Point, and sister Katie Tough (Bill) of Langley, BC. In 1938, the Vadovic family immigrated to Canada and settled in Dover Township. Karl was a life-long farmer in Dover Township and a former employee of the British Leaf Tobacco Factory. He enjoyed playing cards at the Wallaceburg Moose Lodge as a member of the “Tigers“ card team for 52 years. He also loved fishing year round with his buddies. Karl will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. A private family service will be held on Friday, Nov.16th. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
