ELLIOTT, JOHN STEPHEN (1939-2004) It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of John Elliott, beloved husband of Carla. John passed away suddenly at home on Saturday September 18th, 2004, after battling cancer. Loving father of Muriel Lori Schwehr (husband Dennis), John Elliott Jr., Tammy Galarneau (husband Steve), and Sherri Schiestel (husband Darren). Beloved "Poppa" to Nicholas, Natalee, Kaylee, Kyle, Riley, Jordan and Carlee. Loving brother-in-law to Jim Abramson (wife Yvette) and Sally Gilroy (husband Brian). Life-long friend of Jules Gelinas (wife Nancy). Predeceased by his parents Art and Ruth Elliott. Special thanks to Bayshore Nursing, Dr Arnold, Dr. Cano and Nancy from C.C.A.C. for their care and attention. Thank you to all the nurses who helped us during the last few months, especially Amelia Malherbe and Pam Lockey for their patience and caring. Thank you to our friends and neighbours for their support. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Porcupine United Church through the funeral home. John will be remembered as a loving husband, father, poppa and friend. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be sadly missed by all.
