HOUGH, Irene Mary - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Bay Haven Senior Care Community, Collingwood, on Thursday November 8th, 2007, in her 89th year. Irene (nee Peers), beloved wife of the late John (2000). Loving mother of Rosemary and her husband Alan Wilkes of Collingwood and Bernie and his wife Janis Hough of Richmond Hill. Loving nana of Jodi (Ryan) Swanzey of Erin, Lori Hough of Richmond Hill and great- grandnana of Kendra Swanzey. Sister of Ken (Margaret) Peers of England and the late John Peers and Peggy Bradshaw. Fondly remembered by niece Alison (John) and many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Phyllis Osborne of Meaford. Dear Ma, second mother, to many friends. Following Mrs. Hough's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place in the spring. Donations made to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
