DAKINS, Douglas - Passed away at the St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Friday November 9, 2007 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Dakins. Loving father of Wayne Dakins of Petawawa, Terry Dakins (Bonnie Clark) of Elliot Lake, Allan Dakins (Charmaine Henri) and Beverley Dakins (Robert Beach), both of Sudbury. Dear grandfather of Doug, Kathleen, Sarah, Michael, Matthew, Gregory, Charlie and great grandfather of Dakota, MacKenzie, Kaleigh and Kaleb. Also survived by his sister Jean Thompson of Kirkland Lake along with numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held on Wednesday November 14, 2007 at 11:00 am from the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre. The Rev. Robert Gardner officiated. Burial in Woodlands Cemetery, Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. 10898610
