ZIMBA, Adeline (Pelletier) - Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas, surrounded by her family on Monday, November 12, 2007 in her 84th year. Proud mother of Christine Gravelle (the late Pat) of Wellandport; Bev Speirs (Doug) of St. Charles; Mark (Barb) of Hamilton; Anita Cannon (Nick) of Tennessee; and Doug (Cheryl) of North Bay. Longtime friend of Esther and Jim Allison of Scotland. Grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of three. Sister of Joan Cote (Dan) of Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Beatrice Pelletier, brother Bruce Pelletier and her husband Stanley Zimba. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Adeline most recently worked and volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of St. Charles Garnier Catholic Parish and a long- standing member of the CWL. Her warm, friendly smile will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Avenue South (between King and Main) 905-572-7900, on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church, 129 Hughson Street South (at Augusta) on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 10 a.m. Private cremation to follow with enichement at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington, at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Hamilton Chapter; St. Joseph's Villa Foundation or a charity of one's choice would be deeply appreciated by the family.
