DICKINSON, William George - Born to Joseph and Helen Dickinson, Port Dalhousie, on April 30th, 1919 died in Niagara-on-the-Lake on November 23rd, 2007. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Bill after a long illness. He was a quiet, kind and caring man. He was our Father. Bill was employed at General Motors for 40 years retiring in 1986. He served 5 years in the Second World War as a member of 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion and was in the invasion of Kisha. He leaves to mourn his wife Alzora Dickinson (nee Holbrook) and his family. At Bill's request there was no visitation and burial has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the War Amps through the NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent Street. We would like to thank the nurses and staff of the N.O.T.L Hospital for their excellent care of our loved one. ~ Alzora and Family God has him in his keeping We have him in our hearts Online guest register www.morganfuneral.com 10913882
