THOMPSON, Viola - At Hospice Niagara in St. Catharines on Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Viola Thompson of Ridgeville in her 78th year. Loving wife of Ed Thompson. Dear mother to Karen and her husband John Guzowski, Brian and his wife Sherry and her son-in-law Peter Pirrie. Loving grandmother to Melissa, Heather, Rebecca, Matthew, Katie and Ryan. Dear sister of Mary Thompson. Predeceased by her daughter Terri Pirrie. Viola was the first president of The Pelham Figure Skating Club. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church North Pelham and Rockway Community Club. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to C.C.A.C., Palliative Care at St. Catharines General Hospital and Hospice Niagara. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church North Pelham at 11:00 on Friday, November 30th. Committal of Ashes will follow at North Pelham Cemetery.
