GRIMSTEAD, Odie - Suddenly at The Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday November 28, 2007, in his 87th year. Clarence Orland (Odie) Grimstead, beloved husband of Eleanor Patricia Armstrong. Loved father of Paul Grimstead (Ina), North Bay, Mark Grimstead (Beth), Bracebridge, Mary McVicar (Garry Reece), Niagara Falls and Tim Grimstead, White Rock B. C. Loved grandfather of Christopher, Amy, Jeremy Grimstead, Dan (Ashley), Dave (Suzanne) McVicar, Andrew (Lisa), Jesse, Ben Grimstead. Great grandfather of Tatiyana, Sadie and Briana. Dear brother of Don Grimstead. He is predeceased by 1 brother and 4 sisters. Odie was born in Niagara on the Lake and was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. He retired in 1982 as plant superintendent of Oneida Silversmiths. Resting at the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave. where the family will receive friends Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7- 9. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church on Monday December 3, 2007, at 10 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery.
