MITCHELL, Marie (nee Mayer) – Passed away peacefully at the United Mennonite Home, Vineland , on Thursday, November 15, 2007, in her 70th year. Beloved wife, for 48 years, of George. Loving mother to Patti (Marc) Tardiff of Hockley Valley, Lori (Leo) Dell'Anno of Mississauga, Kellie of Nanaimo, B.C. and Tim (Andi) of Orangeville. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jamie, Michael, Kerrison, Olivia, Mitchell Jessica, Zack, Eli & Quinn. Marie was born in Field, Ontario , moving to London and began her teaching career in 1956 in Langton, Ontario, later in Hamilton and then St. Catharines. She moved to Welland in 1966 and reentered teaching in 1968 at Holy Name and St. Mary's schools until retirement. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Friday, November 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Saturday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. As expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the United Mennonite Home would be greatly appreciated by the Mitchell family. 10904504
