CRITCHLEY, Vincent - With great dignity at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, November 18th, 2007 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Agnes for 61 years. Adored and loved father of Julie (John) Testa, Ron (Debbie) Critchley and John Critchley (Courtney Waugh). Dear Pop of Simon (Vanessa), Daniel, John, Rory, Sam and Jack. Predeceased by his brother Ron who was killed in action (R.A.F. 1941) and sister Marie Cross. Vince served during WWII with 460 Squadron R.A.A.F. (Bomber Command). He was a Maintenance Supervisor with General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 1981. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Tuesday from 6:45 - 9:00pm. A Legion Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:45pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church (12 Carleton St. S., Thorold) on Wednesday, November 21st at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Animal Assistance, Alzheimers Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. 10906061
